General FAQ

Can I request a different color or material?

In many cases, yes! Available colors and materials depend on the product, manufacturing method (Laser or 3D), and intended use. If you have a particular color, finish, or material in mind, please contact us before ordering. We'll do our best to accommodate your request and confirm any additional costs before proceeding.

Can I request a custom design or personalized item?

Absolutely! We specialize in custom creations and personalized products. Use the Custom Request feature at the top if you have a specific idea, design, name, logo, or image in mind. We'll review your requirements and let you know what is possible, along with any applicable pricing and production considerations.

Do you ship international?

At this time, we only ship within the contiguous United States only. We do not currently offer international shipping because international shipping costs and logistics can make delivery cost-prohibitive.

We appreciate your interest in Divine Custom Works and hope to expand our shipping options in the future. Thank you for understanding!

What is your return policy?

Are there discounts for bulk purchases?

Yes! We welcome bulk orders and are happy to work with you on pricing for larger quantities. Discounts may be available depending on the product, order quantity, customization requirements, and production time.

Whether you need multiple personalized gifts, event favors, promotional items, or a larger production run, contact us with your project details and estimated quantity. We’ll review your needs and provide a quote tailored to your order.

3D Print FAQ

Is a 3D print food safe?

No, we do not recommend using our standard 3D-printed products for direct food contact.

Although some specialty filaments are marketed for food-contact applications, the layer-by-layer nature of 3D printing can create small grooves and crevices where food residue and microorganisms may accumulate.

Our standard printing process is not validated for food-contact use, and we cannot guarantee that our 3D-printed products are food safe. We recommend using them for decorative or non-food-contact

Are your 3D prints child safe?

Child safety depends on the specific product, its design, the materials used, and the child's age. Our products are primarily designed for decorative, practical, and customized uses and should not automatically be considered children's toys.

None of our 3D-printed products are not intended for children under 5 years of age. Products with small parts, detachable components, sharp edges, or other potential hazards should be kept out of reach of young children. Children who are old enough to use a product should still be supervised when appropriate.

Unless a product is specifically identified and evaluated for children's use, please do not assume it is a certified or safety-tested toy. If you are purchasing an item for a child, contact us before ordering so we can discuss its intended use and any relevant safety considerations.

How large of a 3D print can you make?

Our maximum 3D-printing size depends on the printer and the design of your item. Our largest printer is the Bambu Lab H2D, which has a build volume of up to 325 × 320 × 325 mm (approximately 12.8 × 12.6 × 12.8 inches) in its standard configuration.

Larger items may be possible by dividing a design into multiple sections and assembling them after printing. Feasibility depends on the design, required strength, appearance, and intended use.

Have a large or unusual project in mind? Contact us with your dimensions or design, and we’ll be happy to discuss the possibilities.

Can I leave my 3D print outside?

Outdoor durability depends on the material used and the conditions in which the item will be displayed. For outdoor applications, we may offer alternative materials such as ASA or PETG, depending on the intended use. ASA generally provides better resistance to UV exposure and weathering, while PETG offers improved toughness and heat resistance compared with standard PLA but has more limited UV resistance than ASA.

If you need an item for outdoor use, please contact us before placing your order so we can recommend a suitable material. Outdoor performance will vary depending on temperature, sunlight, moisture, and other environmental conditions.

Can I leave my 3D print inside my car?

Most of our 3D-printed products are made using PLA, a versatile and cost-effective material that works well for many decorative and everyday items. However, PLA has limited heat resistance and can soften or warp when exposed to high temperatures, such as those that can occur inside a parked vehicle.

For this reason, we do not recommend leaving PLA items in a hot car, especially during the summer months. If your item will be exposed to higher temperatures, we may be able to print using a more heat-resistant material, such as PETG. Please contact us before ordering to discuss the best material for your needs.

Laser FAQ

What is the maximum size you can laser engrave or cut?

Our laser capabilities depend on the material, project type, and laser being used.

  • CO₂ laser: The standard working area is 23.6 × 12.1 inches (600 × 308 mm). Although the length can expand from 12.1" to 39" when utilizing the conveyor for special requests.
  • Fiber MOPA laser: Working area of approximately 8.7 × 8.7 inches (221 × 221 mm). However, the item being engraved may extend beyond the working area in certain directions, allowing us to accommodate larger or uniquely shaped pieces depending on the project..

The CO₂ laser is suited to compatible materials such as wood and acrylic, while the fiber MOPA laser is designed primarily for marking and engraving suitable metals and other compatible materials. Cutting capabilities depend on the material and its thickness.

What materials can you engrave on?

Thanks to our dual-laser setup, we can engrave everything from custom drinkware and wood signs to detailed metal parts and promotional products. Our 55W CO₂ laser is perfect for wood, acrylic, coated tumblers, and many organic materials, while our 60W MOPA Fiber Laser delivers crisp, permanent engraving on virtually all metals. This versatility allows us to create high-quality custom pieces for both personal and business applications.

Do you supply the materials for your custom engraving service?

Yes, we offer two convenient options:

  • We source them for you: Whether you need cups, acrylic, wood pieces, or business cards, we handle all the ordering and sourcing so you don't have to. You cover the cost of the materials upfront, and the remaining service balance is paid upon your approval of the final work.
  • You supply them: If you already have an item, we gladly accept customer-supplied materials. Please contact us before sending them in so we can confirm the material is safe and suitable for engraving.
